HTC Touch Diamond2 to debut in Taiwan later this month

General

According to the folks over at Mobile Tech Review, the HTC Touch Diamond2 will be hitting the shelves of Taiwanese mobile phone merchants at the end of April. The Touch Diamond2 will be priced at NT$21,900 (≈$650 USD) and will ship with an 8GB microSD card. The North American counterpart is still MIA with no signs of the NAM version of the handset passing through the FCC and HTC being mum on future release dates. HTC knows we’re all anxious to get our TouchFLO 3D on with this sexy new handset — and its big brother, the Touch Pro2 — so hopefully good news is coming sooner rather than later.

    Kelly, That’s not the Touch Diamond2

  • Why’s VZW so slow?!

    Does that mean that VZW will get the Diamond2 just as the Diamond3 is coming out, or will the wait keep increasing?!?!?

    As “Here We Go Again Said” said, whats with showing a picture of the original Touch Diamond?

  • Don Louie

    I think HTC will have phones out for vzw out sooner, that could be a result of the buying of Alltel

  • emoney

    Sorry Don….with the original diamond launching today on VZW we can expect the diamond 2 in about 365 days :-)

  • Neil

    @emoney

    What’s with the picture?

  • Tony

    Yes, this one is ugly. Never understood why people liked the back of this. But the Diamond on Sprint is another matter.

    Why are people crying about the picture? Maybe Kelly doesn’t have a picture of the Diamond2!??! Leave him/her alone!
