BlackBerry Curve 8900 now $149.99 from T-Mobile

Retail

So long, early adopter tax. Don’t worry though, current T-Mobile Curve 8900 owners, this one’s not as bad as it could have been in the scheme of things. As of this morning it looks like T-Mobile’s flagship BlackBerry has shed some excess margin in an effort to boost sales. Potential Curve 8900 owners will now find that the sleek 3G-less beauty is $50 cheaper than it was last night, settling in at $149.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate. Not bad, not bad. Email-hungry T-Mobile customers really have no reason to shy away from BlackBerry’s latest Curve now as there simply isn’t a better value to be had in Pinksville as far as we’re concerned. So who’s in?

Thanks, Justin!

Tmo dont not force you to keep a data plan! Att does! Also Tmo gives you the choice of a data only or mins only options for all phones!…I got the 8900 a few days before release for 179.30 1yr contract after a 200.00 rebate!

Is the mail-in-rebate a downloadable form? I just bought an 8900 under the customer-loyalty program for $179.99 about 10 days ago…still within the “buyer’s remorse” period. If I could convince them to give me the $149.99 price as a retro-active pricematch, AND use the $100 rebate, that would be frikkin AWESOME! $49.99 for a badass smartphone!!! If anyone knows exactly how the mail-in rebate works, PLEASE PM me….thanks!

Or just reply here…. thanks =)

I doubt if it will work, but would be a super slick deals ;)

I bought mine a month ago, and called them after I read this. They gave me $20 credit to my acct. Ya, I’m outside the 14 day price match / return window, but $20 is something.

@ backbeat: Did you forget about $10/month for UMA calling a.k.a. Hotspot aka TalkForever? I agree that still doesn’t make up for the $24 discrepancy

  • backbeat

^no. didn’t forget, as marin never mentioned needing/subscribing to the uma plan.

I am holding on to my 8320 until they have a small 3G device! It’s falling apart and has scratches on the screen but I need 3G before I switch.
