ok so from my previous post, i think its pretty safe to assume this is not going to big red.

Now for you “dreamers” that think a MVNO (cricket) would get dibs on a phone like this …. keep paying $39.99 monthly and think your gonna get the hottest phones ::rolls eyes::

I’d like to see proof that it’s going to Cricket first. I think Verizon’s getting it based on the live shots being that it looks like a slider version of the Krave.

Diversity would mean better reception which Moto phones always have, which means wider coverage and faster download speeds!!! Cool, looks sleek.

i think its a pretty cool . talking trash cause you go through a expensive wireless carrier so shut your mouth .

Since this is a CDMA phone and the only major carriers here that are CDMA are Verizon and Sprint Nextel, I’m putting my money on one of those carriers to get it… and most likely it will be Verizon. On a side note, as a T-Mobile user, I’m thinking its time to make the switch.

Cricket’s not getting this phone…. Motorola would not go through this trouble to make this kind of phone just for a company that doesn’t have any real coverage to carry it…. think people… :rolling eyes:

This phone is definitely gonna be on Cricket. I just went to a store in Philadelphia and a Motorola rep was in the store showing the phone off to the employees. He said it would be out by July. I’m pickin it up quick!

This phone is simply a cheap remake of the iPhone! I personally have Cricket myself since I end up running my minutes over whenever I have other networks. Great example is when my husband and I decide to switch to Helio. Worst mistake ever! But I guess you learn from experience! So I heard whispers that Cricket was going to launch the Motorola Hint! Mmm… I wonder when. I wouldn’t get this touch screen phone at no time. Seems a little not so cool. But to each it’s own! Till now..!

HOW MUCH IS IT???? (FOR CRICKET)

EVERYTHING ALLTEL/VERIZON GETS METRO PCS GETS HA HA $50 UNLIMTED CAN’T BEAT THAT PLUS METRO GOING LTE LIKE WHOA KEEP UP KIDS LMFAO!!!

You say you have Cricket, how do you like it… or dislike it? I’ve got US Cellular now and I’m just done with them. This month’s bill alone is $160 and that doesn’t include any type of internet or games or what ever, and to those that say Criket won’t get this. On March 30th Motorola had announced that it would. So why wouldn’t it. Besides in my oppinion, Criket being the underdog, Motorola may be betting that Cricket wont be for long.

A friend of mine said they saw a Cricket commercial tonight advertising the Evoke. However, did you know that Alltel launched this device a week ago?

  • SHO ONE

I did and wanted to buy it from altel and get it flashed over to Cricket but they’re telling me I can’t which is a load of crap because A. the first person I spoke with a week ago regarding a different phone said yes to my LG Glimmer for US Cellular but another person at there corporate store in Chicago said umm no…. She sounded like she was a few fries short of a happy meal, if you know what I mean!

There’s a difference between technical can and can’ts versus policy. Be careful, though… Cricket uses a different type of network than Alltel, so not ALL devices are capable of being cross-compatible. Some devices don’t support the frequency ranges that the other carrier uses. Make sure you do your research before you put money into a device just to get it to another carrier.

Hope CRICKET has better prices than the other companies!

I agree that it is somewhat a cross between iPhone and Pre. I also am a Cricket customer. I have been one off and on for years. Cricket gives decent phone service, no real problems and I live in a semi-rural area outside a major city and their coverage is good. Combine that and the system usage agreement with MetroPCS and you have got a decent network. This phone may make me switch from Sprint to Cricket.
