Live shots of Nokia’s new music phones emerge

General

Nokia’s trio of new music phones were leaked only slightly ahead of schedule this time around, but that won’t stop live images from making their way around the internet without the Finnish company’s blessing. Just as with last night’s leak, another Dutch site is behind today’s live cameos and it has some great crisp shots of the handsets in action – no tiny blurrycam pics here. Surprisingly perhaps, Nokia’s new handsets look even better in real life than in the company’s mockups. No, we’re still not overly interested in any of them but they’ll certainly find happy homes somewhere, no doubt. Hit the jump for another shot of the 5730 XpressMusic pictured above, along with shots of the 5330 XpressMusic and the 5030.

the red buttons look like they wont last long. okay phones at best… 5330 reminds me too much fo the diamond for some reason; but still nice.

Is that as dinky as it looks?

I hope 5730 comes to AT&T. We need more good Nokias.

Who cares? Does everyone really need music constantly pumped into their ears? I personally dont get it. IMO, I dont find Nokia phones interesting at all.

@Doug: Obviously you are not the target audience. Most people fail to understand that most devices are not universal.

I have to admit, these phones look a little more ‘plastic-ish’ then what I am used to (E51/71). However, Samsung has been making some in-roads to mainstream phones as of late. I even got a Samsung Eternity and favor it now over my Nokia E51. Sounds kind of sacrilegious, I know.

    alert T-Mobile users
5330 will have 2 versions, and one of them has 3G support, it’s probably basic UMTS by the price
    better than nothing though

I just hope T-Mobile gets the Nokie Qwerty. It’s about that time to give up the Sidekick now…

    looks really good :)

My country is Nokia country. Am sure a lot of “kabataan ng Pilipinas” would be saving up for these new ones.

moms and dads, get ready :)

What kills me about the Qwerty keyboard is the dot/type writer style looking print on the keys. I never thought something so minimal could throw off the look of a phone but I think with this one it essentially makes it look cheap.

That seems to be one biiiig hand…
