Beats by Dre headphones get ColorWare treatment

Everyone’s favorite gear customization outfit has just announced a new addition that will definitely excite all you audiophiles out there. Yep, Beats by Dre headphones have indeed been added to ColorWare’s repertoire, giving owners of what are likely the hottest casual over-ear headphones a way to separate themselves from the pack. Anyone who has sampled the renowned headphones spawned from a partnership between premium gear-maker Monster and Dr. Dre will tell you they’ve got the goods sound-wise, and now the option to spruce up the look of these beasts seals the deal. ColoWare breaks Beats by Dre down into 11 unique customizable areas and of course all 35 available colors can be mixed and matched however you like. WINONA, MN March 2, 2009 — Perhaps you’ve already seen you favorite NBA player sporting a
custom made set of Beats by Dr. Dre already. Well, they got it from ColorWare. You can now get a set of you’re very own.

The color choices and options are practically limitless. You can color them in your favorite team
colors, pimp them out in a gold or silver color, keep them clean in all white, or come up with you own color concoction. You have the option of sending in a set you already own for customization or you can simply buy a new one directly from their website by selecting the “buy new” option.

    HAHAHAH,you all are funny… if you think $500 is a lot for some headphones you are nuts. My cousin just bought a pair of headphones for $1300(Tesla T1 headphones) and they are amazing. To say the dre headphones suck is a dumb move because they are great. I use them to make my beats when im traveling and even do a little mixing with them. $500 is nothing to be honest. If you are broke,dont hate, because when you make money, $500 is pocket change, and the headphones are not made for broke people. Go buy a $20 pair of ipod headphones if thats the class you are in. And they did not just put dr dre’s name on them.It was his idea to make a pair of headphones more suitable for the musician. My studio headphones cost around $250-300 and are not even close to the Dre’s headphone quality. Bottom line, stop saying $500 is a lot of money, because it only is if you cant afford it. A lamborghini cost over $300,000 and is that to much. No,because you have a choice, go buy a honda civic, or step ya game up

      your an idiot your talking about poor or broke people? haha beats by dre are not studio headphones real studio headphones are in the 1000s and if dres headphones were studio headphones then he would actually use them bottom line if your “studio headphones” only cost 300$ then your not a real dj or whatever you do quit trying to act like your rich because its obvious you have no idea what your talking about

    I was hesitant to buy a headphone that was endorced by a celebrity because I was worried that poor quality would be hidden by a brand… So I went headphone shopping specificaly biased against them. After trying about a dozen headphones Including and Sony and Bose ( I don’t know much about headphones so I’m only naming some of those whose names I regonized), the dre studio’s were by far the best both in sound quality and asethetics as for the extra $250 for custom… I would only get it done if I knew it would be covered under a warranty

    I just got the Studio headphones from http://www.buybeatsbydre.com , not custom ones though , regardless i would have to say at first i was a little hesitant at first like the average consumer for even thinking to spend $200+ on a set of headphones. I can honestly say that the purchase was worth every dollar I spent and im an extreme penny pincher. Nowadays you get what you pay for, and when it comes to my music and gadgets i dont mind spending the extra cash. I would however, never spend 500 just for some custom colors unless i win the lottery sometime in the near future : )

    I just ordered a pair custom pink and black design. I have been hearing for soooooo long now that these headphones are the shit…so i said what the hell and i have decided to pick em up…as young 21 year old active duty soldier deployed overseas i got nothing to do with my paychecks everymonth but pay a car note….thats it….so heck i figured why not…as a gift to myself on my 21st birthday i guess lol.
