T-Mobile BlackBerry Curve 8900 makes its way into stores, Feb. 11th release

Exclusive

Yes, yes, the rumor about the T-Mobile BlackBerry Curve 8900 release being moved up to February 11th is true. One of our T-Mobile ninjas just sent us in some pictures of the Curve 8900 in their retail store. Don’t get too excited, though, as T-Mobile reps take this pretty seriously and won’t sell you one earlier than street date. But you’re wait is almost over, friends. Hit the jump for the rest of the pictures!

Thanks, Dominico!

    @ steve blow jobs have I seen the side by side comparison u fool this thing is fast on edge just cause att is getting rid of edge doesn’t mean everyone else needs to. if it was so bad why is att verizon sprint going to release it as well. just shut your iphone loving cock sucking mouth. if u love att and iphone so much why do u bother coming to a tmo and bb post. u arrogant s.o.b

    To tuebperson who bought up 4G and LTE.. so treakin what? AT&T still isn’t giving anybody 7.2mbps so WTF is sooooo special about lte?

    I’d rather let t-mobile get their 3G nationwide like verizon and give 2.8mbps+ speeds on the regular basis thenbhavebthem jump to lte when some people in Vermont still don’t get 3G.

    Vertical typing on the iPhone is not one of my strong points.

    @Steve Jobs,
    3G won’t help me since I don’t live in a 3G covered area. I’ve been surfing the net with 2G and WiFi. This one gets UMA via TMO, and you’re right it does look nice. You’re right about TMO being behind the curve on technology though. It’s like the rebels vs. the empire in Star Wars (guess which provider has the Death Star-like logo).

    @Warren,

    Why are you going to miss the backlit keyboard? The 8900 will have that just the same as the 8300 series does. Check it out:

    I’d say this drops in March for at&t! Can’t see it going any further, however without 3G is going to be a tough sale! But ya never know, maybe at&t surprises everyone with a 3G curve…hmmm!!!

  • DUDE

    NICE! That is what I like to see!!! Patience is a virtue ;) .

    I’m glad I didn’t leave t-mobile yet and waited out. Cause always wanted a curve and this one is too hot. I’m definitely gettin that on Feb. 11th.

  • Super

    Is it supported by LifeInPocket? How about WiFi?

    It says:

    The lack of 3g isn’t even that big of a deal, 3g is really only necessary for tethering. Aside from the fact that tmo’s 3g coverage is very spotty. AT&T will be picking up a 3g version of this phone later in the year, as well as a touch screen bold/8900/storm combo.
