New MacBook and MacBook Pro users rejoice – Apple has issued the promised software update that supposedly resolves any trackpad issues you may have been experiencing. Text from the update:
This firmware update addresses an issue where trackpad clicks may not be recognized on MacBook (Late 2008) and MacBook Pro (Late 2008) systems.
When installation is complete, the updater application will launch automatically. Follow the instructions in the updater application to complete the update process. (If Software Update requires a restart, the updater application will launch after you log in.)
Those affected will surely know what we’re talking about here. In a nutshell, new MacBook and MacBook Pro models would have issues where the trackpad click would fail to function after a certain number of clicks. No worries though, all should now be resolved. The update will push through automatically but if you’re still waiting, hit it manually to start enjoying your sexy new trackpad error-free.
