If you’re one of the many who’ve been eagerly awaiting a MySpace app for your BlackBerry, then this one’s for you. Officially launched as of midnight and sporting a look nearly identical to the native Facebook app, MySpace for BlackBerry allows you to do pretty much everything you can do from your computer like send and receive messages, share your mood, and view and upload photos from the evening of drunken debauchery that was last night.     I keep getting this merror message.

    Rim is probably just adding more web servers to their farms…. must have underestimated the demand for the myspace app. I bet it will be back up later tonight.

    I cant get the page to come up on my curve anyone know when it will be back up? If this is any sort of start I’ll keep using the browser version…

    So how can I get the new app? I cant find it at any of the links its suppose to be at. The blackberry site has was overwhelmed with traffic since I got off work. I went to myspace mobile and the link there was no luck. Maybe if someone has the app on their pc still, they could forward it to me, thatd be great

    Does it say “online now” when you’re logged in to the MySpace App? I hate signing in and out so I just stay signed in all the time on my phone like what I do with Facebook, but I don’t like that it says “online now” on MySpace. People will think I’m an addict. Ok…maybe I am but I don’t want people to know!

    I still use MySpace. I like the app, and am happy they finally got it out. It’s actually better than the facebook one in my opinion.

    I’m kind of confused cus when I download the application, it says download is successful but there is no icon for it. :/ I have the 8130 Pearl from Verizon. Any ideas!? I’m a frequenct MySpace user, too. So, I was definitely excited.
    - I’m in high school, only reason I’m addicted to it still!

    I’ve successfully installed the application on my blackberry but keep getting the following error:
    “There was an error authenticating with MySpace. Verify that your BlackBerry’s clock is set to the correct time & time zone – Current Time: 17:33 Dublin, London (GMT)”
    I confirm that my BB is correctly set to Dublin, London (GMT). When troubleshooting I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, change the time setting to US… unsuccessfully, the message remain the same.
    Same story when trying to click on “Terms” or “Privacy” on the login window.

    Yep, Jimmy. I’m in the US and get the same error. I tried to rest the time for more than 10 mins. I’m – <—this close ti uninstalling the thing and giving up.
