We have lift off: AT&T Fuze demo units hit AT&T stores!

Well, that didn’t take long! It now seems as if AT&T Fuze demo units have started popping up in AT&T corporate stores across the country. We weren’t given any sort of launch information, but hey, it can’t be too long now, can it? There’s a couple more shots after the jump for all your dirty Windows Mobile fans. We can’t wait to get one of these…

    Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if Android was running on the Fuze before too long.

    Android is running on the HTC touchpro (fuze) and on the diamond, its early beta but will be complete soon, checkout xda-developers.com for more info.

    I’m excited for the FUZE, but apprehensive about the WinMo situation. I’ve seen youTube clips of the OS in operation, but nothing deeper than the surface menu’s (which are Flo-tastic). When I get a chance to put my grubby lil mitts on one of these only to find out that the same scuzzy WinMo OS (TyTn) was just enhanced with a neat-0 touch interface, I’ll just keep bangin my head against my Moto Q until someone gets it right.

    Now that is a hot item right there BG…I think it’ll drop earlier then Black Friday, however expect the price to be steeeeep, $399-$499 area! Similar to when the tilt dropped..

    As long at the folks at xda dev can cook a rom that gets rid of all the ATT crapware, I’m in. I’ve been limping along with my ghetto 8525 since they came out…

    I was at At&t on Thursday the 6th and they had the demo phone in the store…the guy I was talking to about it said he had just put in the order that day for the phones and that they should arrive on the 11th!! Hopefully he was right, but I have a feeling he was because he was really excited about getting one for himself. I know I can’t wait!

    Okay I got my Fuze today and its going right back to the store for a return. Touch Flo is slow and even without it on the os is slow. Reception is bad. I can have my VU set beside it, my view will get 3g and the Fuze will get only Edge. I really wanted to love this phone but I got to be honest it down right sucks!
