Nokia E71 Headed to Rogers in Q4

Nokia E71 is expected to be released by Rogers in Q4 2008.

Primed for a Q4 launch, the choice of Rogers over Fido is a bit questionable for a few reasons. The Canadian market for such devices, while growing very quickly, is still rather small. And considering that most of the people this phone is aimed at already have or are planning to get a BlackBerry or an iPhone it just becomes strange. Oh, did we mention that choosing a BlackBerry is a matter of pride for most Canadians and that QWERTY smartphones from the boys of Espoo are hated on in Canadian IT departments for their ditching BlackBerry Connect? No, don’t think we did.
