    In America we can use big kid language. Step up you parenting skills and quite worrying about some trivial shit like a a word on a forum. Thanks for wasting our time.

    Well Larry,

    Unfortunately, I don’t sympathize with you. If you can’t manage to be a better parent and monitor what it is that your children are viewing on the internet, it is your problem, and take your whining somewhere else.

    What is also reality is that curse words are part of the english language. This is an adult site with comments posted by adults for adults. When someone curses in public every time, do you go up to that person and ask them to watch what they are saying in front of your daughter, or do you petition television also due to its profane nature whenever there is a sexual commercial or profane word used?

    Nobody is forcing you or your daughter to read this site or the BLOG. All you have to do is block the site from her login or however she logs on to your computer. Either way, the burden is on your shoulders, not on any site or person who is on the internet.

    BTW—–I still love you all, including you Larry even though you are a liberal.

    @DavidB

    I have owned Blackberry phones, and I was not very impressed by them. They are exceptional when it comes to e-mailing, but they aren’t anything special with respect to anything else. I don’t need to receive e-mails instantaneously, so it’s not an important feature for me. And currently the iPhone handles e-mails just fine. That’s my opinion, ok? The only thing that sucks is AT&T’s service; I had Verizon previously, and its service in the Northeast is definitely superior! I have an iPhone and had a Treo before the iPhone, and the iPhone was truly unique when it came out. It’s nice to see so many companies emulating many of its features, especially considering the fact that RIM’s co-CEO stated that the iPhone wouldn’t be successful since it didn’t have a physical keyboard – and now RIM is putting out a phone with no physical keyboard! We’ll see how it plays out when the phone is in users’ hands. The Storm will not have much that I will find to be missing in the iPhone. I never used cut and paste on my Treo (even though it had it). I don’t use MMS, so that’s not important. So the iPhone suits me fine. I’m still surprised that RIM would create a kickass phone without WiFi. That’s pretty embarrassing! Maybe that was one of Verizon’s requirements. That’s why I got tired of Verizon – they crippled all of their phones. And it will do the same with this phone, unfortunately. I hope that the phone is solid (and the software as well). That will make Apple work twice as hard to build a better phone! The other “iPhone killers” have proved to be less than stellar, so we shall see.

  • http://www.bgr.com sabrina

    man, i’m planning on getting the storm this weekend, i hope that all the hype i heard bout it was true cause now im just hearing negative comments bout it. im always on youtube, i hope that i don’t get the distorted picture on my phone. Now i’m having second thoughts

  • Ant

    Can someone simplify the difference between a 500 and 530 please.

  • Derek Solmenakh

    The basic difference is that the 9500 is Quadband GSM – whereas the 9530 is Quadband GSM along with a dual band CDMA –

    And yea, youtube doesn’t quite work well with the STORM – The phone hangs up – This is purely a business phone for the new generation business enterpreneurs.. Buy it only if you are living breathing on your emails – Or else, nothing, absolutely nothing beats the i-Phone!!
