Marriott and Renaissance Hotels to offer in-room Nintendo Wii

Marriott announced on yesterday that they will begin offering a “Wii and You” hotel room package that includes a Nintendo Wii gaming system. The specially built Wii console will come with 20 different pre-installed games (no CD required) including Mario Cart, Super Mario Galaxy, WiiSports, and Wii Fit. Rooms with unlimited in-room use are available now for a “small premium” at 5 different US locations. Nice idea to liven up a boring hotel room stay but we sure hope Marriott has installed some extra heavy duty Plexiglas to protect their displays from those over-enthusiastic Wii Tennis players. You know who you are. The ones that don’t wear the wrist strap.
