BlackBerry Storm launching on Vodafone world wide November 9th?

Exclusive

We’re working to completely confirm this info, but it does sound about right. Two of our sources have told us that Vodafone’s global launch date for the BlackBerry Storm is on November 9th. No telling if Verizon’s release date is the same, but we had heard November 7th for Verizon, so who knows. There are also rumblings about an October 9th Verizon/Vodafone/RIM press event in New York City. Hold on BlackBerry fans, you won’t even recognize the Bold in about a month…

    @need new phone:

    AT&T doesn’t pump phone out quickly, the manufacturers do. And none of them seem to have a problem making a phone work on AT&T’s network, “bub”. I have a couple of unlocked phones that were never actually “tested” by AT&T that work fine on the 3G service like my Nokia E71 and N95-4 both of which hold onto a 3.5g HSPDA signal like dog with a bone. So it’s not a far leap to think that RIM has the issue and not AT&T. “Bub!”.

    it means the storm is one magnificent mobile computing device and everyone’s attention will turn from the bold to it.

    Ok, so will I be able to unlock the Storm and use it on AT&T or not(stuck for another two years)?
