LG “Momo” X110 3G-enabled netbook on the way

So is it safe to say that the netbook game is in full swing now? It seems like every week we see two or three new tiny laptops released, announced or at least leaked. Hey, the more the merrier. Today’s first entry comes from Korean gadgeteer LG. The X110, or “Momo” (short for More Mobile) as LG has nicknamed it, has appeared on LG’s Arab Emirates site and we have to say it’s one of the best looking netbooks we’ve seen, especially the keyboard which includes full-size enter and shift keys on the right panel by pushing the arrow keys down a bit. Of course pricing is still a mystery so it remains to be seen whether or not the Momo will continue to look this good once released. The site gives no hints as to when we might expect to see this little puppy in the wild but considering its appearance on LG’s site, we should hear something relatively soon. A quick look at the spec highlights:

  • Integrated 802.11b/g and [seemingly optional] 3G
  • Intel Atom Processor N270, 1.6GHz, 533MHz FSB, 512KB L2 Cache
  • Three hard drive options (80GB/120GB/160GB) with 512KB-1GB DDR2 RAM
  • Optional Bluetooth v2.0 + EDR
  • LG Smart Cam 1.3 megapixel webcam
  • 4-in-1 multimedia card reader (SD, MMC, MS, MS pro)
  • Input / output: 3 x USB, VGA, RJ45, Mic-in, HP-out
  • 261.8 x 180 x 19~31 mm, just over 2.6 lbs with the standard 3-cell battery
  • Windows Vista Home Basic
