BlackBerry Bold / AT&T update!

While our predicted national launch date of October 2nd still looks to be holding true, we’ve had a flurry of tips from many different people regarding the BlackBerry Bold release on AT&T. What we’ve heard, is that stores will be allowed to start ordering the BlackBerry Bold on September 24th. That gives them plenty of time to get units in stock and ready to go. No telling if stores will be allowed to sell the units the moment they come in, or if they will have to hold them until the 2nd. Then again, when do AT&T stores actually follow launch instructions?

    End of October. When it is released they will also release the updated handheld software for the Curve so that peeps can record videos etc.

    From what I saw, they are looking to release it October 26th. I don’t think its gonna happen but i hope it does. I think it will be released early November but I hope sooner.

    well ok now that it is Oct 17th and STILL NO ATT BOLD in stores and none know when they will get it. So what is with all this talk and then Oct 2 passes, no Bold and then no more talking about it..does anyone even really know when this phone is going to hit? Looks like not! Nice try but you guys were WAY OFF

    This is crap. My old Blackberry finally bit the dust. I’ve been waiting patiently for the Bold, and with no blackberry I just settled on the Curve (incredibly slow internet)

    I have 30 days to return it, please ATT don’t let me down on this one

    Why is everyone saying that it’s ATT’s fault that the Bold hasn’t come out, yet? Just so you guys know, it’s RIM that’s been pushing back the release date here–not ATT. So please don’t call your local retail store and yell at them because you’re receiving inaccurate information from sources not affiliated with either company. They don’t know any more than you do–they don’t even Get the phones until the release date, so No, there will be no stores selling them before then.

    Actually the BBB has been pushed back by AT&T because the iPhone 3g has been been sucking up most of the bandwidth, the delay is more as a result of apple trying to fix the iPhone’s absurd 3g issues then anything else.

    Hey everyone the price for the Bold is 399 for new customers, 419 for upgrades, and 659 for those who dont want to sign a contract. i found the info on bestbuy.com under their mobile weekly ad. I’m going for the iphone, the bold is not worth 419.00~~~~ I am truely upset!

    ATT stores will have it with a 100 mail in rebate for new contracts/upgrades, so it will really be 299.
