Here’s a bit of good news for all you Mac-toting Symbian addicts out there. Mark/Space, purveyors of the excellent Missing Sync line of software, have just announced the release of their Symbian-compatible version. The software brings Mac-tp-Symbian S60 syncing for all of your contacts, media, calendar, call log, and SMS data, allowing you to backup your phone without resorting to underhanded tactics. It also allows for proximity syncing, which automatically initiates a sync over Bluetooth whenever your handset is within 30 feet of your computer. Not bad at all. Sure, the $39.95 price tag is a bit steep, but Mark/Space has an excellent track record so we’re confident that this one should be worth the cheese.
