Speed up iPhone sync with a single click

General

If you’re one of the lucky few that has managed to get your hands on a new iPhone 3G, you’ve probably noticed that the backup process for the new handsets is taking a whole lot longer than it used to. Many of us have been speculating that the time increase is due to the new applications, which are considerably bigger and more complex than any content that has been previously backed up by iTunes prior to the release of Firmware 2.0. While the apps are certainly part of the problem, it also seems that the crash reports that iTunes sends to Apple every time you perform a backup. It seems simple enough, but by simply electing not to send any error reports back to Apple, you turn bring your backup process into a nearly bearable experience. Sound good? Yeah, we thought so.

Does anyone know how to reset the settings in iTunes to undo the checked box!

Whe your iphone is synched, right click on it on the left panel in itunes and choose “reset warnings”
Then when you synch the next time you get the prompt again.

    It’s not working for me.

Sometime the backup takes FOREVER – other times, not so much.

It’s irritating, to say the least. :(
