BlackBerry Bold hits Rogers on June 25th?

We’ve got two independant tips on this date, so let’s hope it pans out to be true. AT&T corporate is still telling their Fortune 500 customers that the Bold will launch in “July/August”. Hopefully Rogers will swift kick them in the ass and get them moving. What’s holding up the Bold, you ask? Well, nothing. The units went into production a while ago and the latest software build is extremely stable. It’s all up to the carriers now. What say you, friendly Canadians? Raiding a Rogers store on June 25th for a BlackBerry Bold? Our previous Rogers release dates were spot on, so we’ll see!

UPDATE: We’re now hearing July 17th with the launch party on July 8th… go figure.

    I stopped by rogers store earlier today and they have not heard anything. Apparently it’s not unusual that they would have no advanced warning, the inventory manager calls to tell them how many units they will be getting.

    In this case, the inventory manager has not called yet.

    I don’t think we’re going to see it until end of july or august.
