Asus has just released their new M70 laptop, and this thing has a quite the beast under the hood. The M70 is designed to be a desktop replacement in every sense of the word, sporting a 1920×1200 17″ screen, a 2.5 Ghz Core 2 Duo chip,  up to 4GB of RAM, Blu-ray drive with DVD burning capabilities, HD audio out, 1.3 megapixel webcam, HDMI output, and much more. One of the most impressive specs, however, is the hard drive capacity, which is rated at 1 terabyte. Whoa. An Eee PC this is not, and we can’t imagine this thing is going to win any awards for portability, but if extreme power is your thing, this is a great look. No word on availability or price point, but we’re guessing “not cheap” is a decent bet.
