…or just a grainy prank? You be the judge. The shot above is reportedly of the upcoming Intel-branded Netbook. This tiny, Eee PC-ish machine is said to be running Windows XP, and clipping along at a healthy speed, despite its rumored 900mhz Celeron processor. The tipster goes on to claim a $400 price point. That’s all well and good, but earlier rumors pegged the Netbook with a $250-$300 starting price, and an onboard Intel Atom Diamondville-sourced chipset. Specs change all the time, so we’re not going to pass judgement, but you won’t catch us too surprised if this thing turns out to be a fraud, especially considering the oh-so-ugly handle attached to the unit’s backside.
