Looking for a little HSDPA express card action on Rogers Wireless? Happiness will soon be yours. Novatel Wireless has just announced that they will be making their new Merlin X950D Express Card modem available via the Canadian GSM carrier. The X950D is a tri-band GSM/HSDPA card, and sports HSUPA connectivity for lightening fast upload speeds. Sounds like a good deal to us. The catch here is that the X950D won’t be available until sometime this summer, but if you can wait a couple of months we think you won’t be disappointed. No word on pricing just yet. In other Rogers/Novatel news, the two companies will be offering the Novatel Ovation MC950D HSDPA/HSUPA USB modem as well, though you’ll have to wait until summer to grab this bad boy. Both of these cards feature on-board GPS support.

[Thanks, Mike]
