Meizu gets shut down in Germany

News

We’ve all been wondering who was going to take the first formal swipe at everyone’s favorite iPhone knockoff company, and from the looks of things the Germans pulled it off first. According to Engadget, the Meizu booth at CeBIT was completely shut down. Citing "piracy", visitors are being informed that the booth has been shut down until further notice. Meanwhile, police have been seen confiscating Meizu equipment and brochures, presumably in the interest of gathering evidence prior to a promised official announcement about the raid sometime tomorrow. The Meizu M8 Mini One has been a running joke for some time now, given its incredible similarity to the iPhone, so it’s no surprise that this all went down. Meizu, get a lawyer. Soon.

So will the apple booth, if there is one, get shut down as well for the LG knockoff?
