The company is set to begin offering a customizable content filter beginning February, 2008. The filter, which will be called the Alltel Parental Controls, will allow curious and concerned minds to filter out undesirable sites from their handsets. A.P.C., which is based on Bytemobile’s Unison ACCESS technology, will be available free of charge. We’re all for protecting the youth from the evils of the internet, but nothing says “Fun!” like a little bit of cellphone-based gambling, right?
