While this has been implemented on the Treo 750, there are not too many other WinMo handsets that have gotten such functionality. Textr, a new program from Mykesoft, aims to bring the threaded experience to any and all who desire it. Textr is a pretty simple app that “catches” all of your incoming and outgoing SMS messages while roping them into a chat-like format. You can then select SMS conversations much like you would a tradition IM exchange. The program even allows you to assign images to the phone numbers that you’re exchanging messages with.
