Fresh on the scene is this new app from programmers twenty08. Their new native application, cleverly named MobileChat, is a step ahead of the rest in terms of functionality and features. You want a full buddy list with status notifications? Done! How does both sound and pop-up notifications sound to you? Done! Would you like to stay logged in while your iPhone is in standby/suspend mode? Strike it again! This thing is a true beast, and it even features the iChat-like interface too. Very sharp, guys! It is still in beta form, so expect to encounter some resistance, but a little trouble is more than worth it for a fully functional instant messaging app, right? Right.
