It’s been a long time coming, but that change done come. Palm has finally posted a Windows Mobile 6 upgrade for their Treo 750 and 750v smartphones. The update is currently only available from their European site, but that shouldn’t stop those of us over here in the US from snagging it. The Windows Mobile 6 upgrade drops the usual host of improvements, including (according to Palm):

  • Improved Calendar management with enhanced User Interface
  • Enhanced E-mail messaging, HTML/Smart Filtering, SharePoint access and more
  • Voice command via Bluetooth
  • USB cable charging

Pretty much par for the WM6 course. Of note here, however, is that Palm seems top be placing some unique restrictions on the update process, allowing users only one chance to download the software. You delete it? Too bad, sucka’. One last note: If you use BlackBerry Connect on the regular Windows Mobile 5, do not upgrade your device. Windows Mobile 6 is not currently compatible with BBC, and will leave you SOL if you execute the update. Still ready to take the plunge? Hit the link and enjoy!
