Google Earth flips the script on what you can see

Many are familiar with Google Earth. With it, you can view the world in a revolutionary way, from what is essentially an astronaut’s point of view. Now, Google has decided to flip that camera around, announcing “Sky.” The countless hours that are potentially wasted playing around the world can now be used to view the the reaches of space. Using the same spacial technology, users can pan around the sky and see constellations, stars, moons, and more. And, as they zoom in, images from NASA, including the Hubble telescope, will be fed into the view allowing for as much detail as possible. And, it’s available now with the latest version of Google Earth.
