Remember that BT/Sony PSP venture we told you about? It looks like that may have simply been the first course of a larger menu that Sony wants to bring to your table. A recent Sony Ericsson patent filing has revealed a very PSP-esque phone device, with a screen surface that swivels out to reveal a set of PSP derived controls. The swivel action looks to provide a very palatable gaming experience, though the scale and size of the concept is unclear. We can’t comment on the actual comfort of holding one of these things in your hand. The patent depicts a very gaming centric device, with dialog boxes giving you the option to suspend your game play to pick up a call, with also the option to resume where you left off as soon as the boring conversation is done with. To be fair, this is simply a concept, but it does point to Sony’s interest in producing a full fledged PSPhone. Bring it one, we say!
