Former Beatles star Paul McCartney, has jumped into the online world of music by offering his new upcoming CD on iTunes. iTunes has only managed to get one of his other CD’s up for sale, “Chaos and Creation in the Backyard.” Over at the Zune Marketplace, they have 39 of the singer’s albums up with 19 of them for sale. What’s going on here? Even URGE, Rhapsody and Napster have these albums up on their services as well. What’s with the delay Apple? Can we expect a Beatles/McCartney box set, like the U2 one that launched with the U2 iPod? Either way, if you want to listen to McCartney’s music, currently iTunes isn’t the place you want to be.
